All About Us
The Beverly Farmers’ Market’s 2024 summer season ran from May 14 through October 8. We are continuing the market this fall and winter inside the Riverview Crossing Shopping Centre in Beverly, starting October 15 and running each Tuesday from 2-6pm until December 15!
Throughout the Beverly region there has always been a vibrant and thriving market community where local farmers grew and sold their produce to customers from the local and surrounding area. Over 20 years ago the community decided that an official local market would be a positive and engaging addition to our friendly small town culture and so with the help of the Beverly Business Association we opened in May 1997 as an Alberta Agriculture approved farmers’ market.
Historically we have serviced an area that extends as far north as 167 ave and as farther west than 82 street, though we get regular visitors from all areas of the city. Providing a healthy, family oriented atmosphere with entertainment, bouncy castles, food services and lots of friendly local assistance the Beverly Towne Farmers’ Market has become known as the friendliest market in Edmonton!
We offer a diverse range of vendors, friendly volunteers and entertainers, weekly prize draws as well as free space for community or city groups to promote activities, events or information. Special events for opening week, history week, a corn boil and harvest week and more help keep us fresh and active with new happenings popping up throughout the year. Plenty of nearby parking and easy access to transit along the #8 bus route help us connect with people from all over, and we love it.
Come, meet friends, make friends, enjoy our seating and food vendors while you meet community members and neighbours… Take a tumble in our grownup-rated bouncy slides and houses, or enjoy our local musicians while you shop! Bring the kids and tell your friends… don’t miss us on Facebook and Instagram as well! (See the bottom of the page for links)
